HOME Preschool Ministry
Our focus in the Preschool Ministry is on the children and their families. We firmly believe that God has entrusted them into our care for us to begin laying a foundation for them to later accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. During the preschool years, children are establishing relationships of trust. They are learning that Jesus loves them, that they can pray to God for any reason, and that the church is a safe place.
The Preschool Ministry offers many opportunities to plant seeds of faith. We offer three Sunday School hours of learning, Sunday night choirs for 3 year olds - kindergarten, and Wednesday night mission programs. During the year we have special events for the entire family, such as the Fall Festival, Family Christmas Party, Easter Egg Hunt, and Vacation Bible School. Each event is focused on bringing the family together for fellowship with their church family, as well as being an open invitation to our community.
Security
We have a security program in place that allows parents to feel safe about leaving their preschoolers in our care. Teachers in our programs are screened through background checks and are observed regularly by our ministry team. Security cards are assigned to parents of all 2 year olds - kindergarten preschoolers and pagers are assigned to parents of all preschoolers in the Walkers and Babies classes.
Health
In order to provide a healthy environment for each child and parent in our Preschool Ministry, we ask that you not bring your child if they are, or appear to be, ill. If a child develops a fever or other symptoms during our care, we will contact the parents and ask that the child be taken home in order to help prevent the spread of infection to other children.
Food
The Preschool Ministry will often supply a snack during church functions. We will take into consideration all known allergies. Parents are responsible for informing their child's teacher of their child's specific allergies.
