Salem Baptist, a large SBC church in McDonough, Georgia situated on a 104 acre campus is currently seeking a Minister of Recreation. Qualified candidates should have a passionate desire and proven ability to reach and disciple individuals for Christ through Recreation Ministry. Candidates should have experience in leading and organizing large numbers of volunteers and facilitating programs and events. The Minister of Recreation shall direct the planning, coordination, enlistment, promotion and implementation of a balanced and comprehensive Recreation Ministry for all ages relating to the following but not limited to: sports leagues, outdoor recreation, wellness programs, church-wide events, leisure programs, and others. A minimum of five years of ministry experience is required in addition to completed seminary level education or the equivalent.
