New Members

As you consider making Salem Baptist Church your church home, you may have some questions or concerns about what membership requires or how the process works. If the information provided below doesn't answer your questions, don't hesitate to give us a call. Our staff would love the opportunity to talk personally with you and your family about this important decision.
Why is membership important?
Membership identifies that you believe in the mission and the vision of Salem Baptist Church and that you are willing to support the local church through the giving of your time, your gifts/abilities, and your resources. Partnering with the local church helps lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus and allows you the opportunity to connect with other believers who will walk beside you in life.
How do I join Salem?
Complete the membership application and present it to our pastor on Sunday morning during one of the services. We encourage you to make this decision publicly so that you can be affirmed and encouraged by the Salem family. Should you desire not to do it this way, membership applications can be placed in the offering plate on Sunday mornings or brought to the church office during the week.
Are there any prerequisites to join Salem?
Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Been baptized since accepting Christ. Be willing to support the ministry of Salem Baptist Church.
To discuss any of these in more detail, please call the church office at 770-957-4543.
How can I learn more about the ministry of Salem Baptist Church?
Read our history.
Read our beliefs.
