Recreation Ministry

The foundation for everything we do in the Recreation Ministry is our desire to bring honor and glory to Jesus Christ. We want to offer the people of Salem and the surrounding community an opportunity to enjoy sports and recreation in a way that builds and encourages people; and, we desire to offer the community an opportunity to enjoy sports and recreation in an environment that is not only family-oriented, but is centered around Jesus. We want to create an environment in which we can intentionally share the gospel with our community. Some of our seasonal sports programs include spring TBall-baseball and girls softball and fall soccer.

One of the components of the Recreation Ministry is our active support of the local Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. These programs offer the youth in our community the opportunity to explore the four main cornerstones of scouting: God, Family, Country & Self. Read more about them on their facebook page.
